As usual in the trade, an installation of a new library unit has been put off for a week. So, I did one of my favorite things, cruse the antique stores of Cape Town. I love this petite chair upholstered in a faded silk, it's just charming. The lamp shades are beautiful too, as I enjoy using vintage elements in an interior, so it feels effortless and it just evolved. I firmly believe spaces are living and are never finished, they must change and develop like a person does.

These two etchings where picked up at a bargain. They are French and printed in 1730, I like the simplicity of the frames too, just need to be cleaned up a bit.

The turquoise Phoo dogs are the inspiration for a Cottage I have just started designing, the coral handles will be used on the custom designed cupboards. I picked them up on a recent trip to New York, from the Shop Anthropologie.

After all this had work, I had to head for a wonderful lunch at my favorite spot, Lazari. Oh my, I love every thing on the menu but you must try one of Chris's pink cupcakes, with white chocolate icing. Yum Yum.
